It’s only been 15 months and Ola is already the largest EV company in India both by revenue and volume, as well as the fastest-growing one. The Indian EV maker is now working on launching multiple styles of electric motorcycles in the next couple of years.Ola Electric founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently revealed in a blog post that the company will launch new electric bikes and scooters in both premium and mass-market segments by 2024.The first launch of 2023 will be a mass-market scooter followed by a premium motorcycle and mass motorcycle in 2024. "In 2023 and 2024, we will launch many more 2W EV products - a mass market scooter, a mass market motorcycle, and multiple premium motorcycles (sports, cruisers, adventure, and road bikes)," Aggarwal wrote in the blog post."This strong scale of 2W manufacturing gives us a strong competitive advantage across core EV technologies and supply chains in software, electronics, batteries and power trains and will enable us to make world-class 4W products at very competitive price points.," he added.
